On the palate, it has strawberry and raspberry fruit with fresh melon. This perfectly balanced Rosé has the right amount of acidity and is an excellent expression of Grenache.

The 2016 vintage from Blue Mountain Vineyard is overflowing with aromatic dark fruit, violet and espresso notes. It is extremely concentrated with complex, yet supple tannins. This full-bodied offering transcends it's origins. It envelops the palate in lingering blackberry jam, and plum with layers of baking spices.

Grapes were hand picked and hand sorted into stainless steel tanks during the early morning hours of October 19th 2016. During fermentation, 2 times a day, gentle pump-overs and punch-downs were applied. The wine was aged in 50% new, oak barrels from French cooper Sylvain for 42 months! The 2018 Grenache has perfumed aromatics of blackberries and dark cherries. This sets the stage for an elegant palate of bold raspberries with hints of vanilla and plum. Balanced and intensely structured, this wine has great depth -perfect for long term cellar aging.

Grapes were hand picked and hand sorted into a stainless steel fermentation bin during the early morning hours of September 27th 2018. During fermentation, 2 times a day, gentle pump-overs and punch-downs were applied. The wine was aged in 100% neutral French oak barrels for 19 months. This classic Tempranillo delivers layers of blackberries, rich plum, dried herbs and potpourri. Bing cherry and cranberry are also expressed with balanced acidity. A smooth and supple mouth feel with an extended finish reflects the wine's 31 months of barrel aging.

2017 was the year we produced our first single-vineyard Tempranillo. Grapes were harvested and sorted by hand during the early morning hours of October 17th, 2017. The wine was aged in 25% new French oak barrels for 31 months. Wine barrels were topped every two to three weeks before bottling July 10th 2020. The fruit is selected from exceptional vineyards in the Walla Walla Valley and Snipes Mountain appellations. Aged 22 months in 50% new French Sylvain oak barrels.

With almost 60% of the blend coming from Cabernet Sauvignon vines planted in 1973, the 2013 Symphony is layered with black cherry, plum, currants, coffee, cocoa and hints of allspice, fresh thyme, tobacco and forest floor. The body is laced with smooth fine-grained tannins, great freshness and red fruit characteristics.

2011 Symphony

Appellation: Columbia Valley

2011 Symphony, our first ever blend is made from 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc all from selected vineyards in the Red Mountain and Walla Walla Valley appellations. Aged 21 months in 40% new French oak.

Winemaker notes
The 2011 Symphony has a beautiful bouquet revealing violet and red cherries. On the mid-palate rich flavors of raspberry, red cherry, black tea, herbaceous notes, belies it's delicate balanced tannins, low acidity and low alcohol. It has both structure and complexity with a luxurious, silky mouth feel.

Winemaking data
The blend is made from 60% Cabernet Sauvignon from Red Mountain (Corliss Canyons Vineyard), 20% Merlot from Walla Walla Valley (Les Collines Vineyard) and 20% Cabernet Franc from Walla Walla Valley (Summit View Vineyard). Grapes were hand picked and hand sorted into stainless steel tanks during the early morning hours of November 1st 2011. During fermentation, 2 times a day, gentle pump-overs and punch-downs were applied. The wine was aged in 40% new French, fine grain, oak barrels from cooper Sylvain. Wine barrels were topped every two weeks. Wines were aged separately and blended August 9th 2013. Bottling date September 20th 2013. Alcohol 13.0%, PH 3.76, TA 6.0 g/L, Production 120 cases.

This 100% single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is from block 13 in Blue Mountain Vineyard. Aged 21 months in 50% new French oak barrels.

Winemaker notes
The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon is concentrated in the nose and on the palate with aromas of freshly crushed black cherries and dark plum followed by nutmeg, tobacco and vanilla bean. With an exceptional long finish, the sweet tannins reveal coffee with a hint of caramel cream.

Grapes were hand picked and hand sorted into stainless steel tanks during the late evening hours of November 7th 2011. During fermentation, 2 times a day, gentle pump-overs and punch-downs were applied. The wine was aged in 50% new French, fine grain, oak barrels from cooper Le Grand. Wine barrels were topped every two weeks. Bottling date September 20th 2013. Alcohol 13.0%, PH 3.59, TA 6.3 g/L, Production 92 cases.
